Diamonds at Sea

This pattern has been released! If you are interested in knitting this pattern going forward, please be advised that yarn choice is crucial. Some of my testers used variegated yarns, and the cables really faded into the background. Chose a yarn that is either a more solid color, or perhaps a lighter color variegated. I think the yarn I used is probably as dark as I would go with this pattern, and even that is really pushing the bounds for the cables.

This particular yarn is Miss Babs Kilimanjaro, in the colorway Deadly Nightshade. It’s such nice yarn. I really love the Miss Babs yarns. They are some of my favorites. I did a lot of work on this pattern, while we were on vacation. This contributed to its naming. The socks require about 400 yards of a fingering weight yarn.
